Guide to seeing an escort

A plain guide to booking well: what to check, what to say, what to expect, and how to keep everyone safe.

Before you get in touch

Read the whole profile first. Rates, hours, location and the services offered are all listed there, and most awkward first messages are questions the profile already answers.

  • Check for a verification badge. It means the photos have been matched to the person.
  • Read the reviews, including the lukewarm ones. They tell you more than the glowing ones do.
  • Check the rates and what they cover before you make contact, not after.
  • Check whether they host, travel, or both, and whether they cover your area.

Making first contact

Be short, polite and specific. Say hello, give your name, say when you would like to meet and for how long. That is enough for a first message.

Do not open with explicit talk or with requests for extra photos. It is the fastest way to be ignored, and it is the single most common complaint advertisers make.

Rates are set by the advertiser. Haggling is treated as a red flag and usually ends the conversation.

Agreeing the booking

Confirm the time, the length of the booking, the location and the rate before you set off. Ask about parking or directions then rather than on the doorstep.

What is agreed is time and company. Anything beyond that is a private matter between consenting adults, and no fee buys anyone consent in advance.

Incall and outcall

Incall means you travel to them. Outcall means they travel to you, at your home or your hotel. Outcall usually costs more and may take longer to arrange.

If you book outcall, expect the therapist to bring linen and oils and to work on your bed. They do not carry a massage table. Have clean towels, a warm room and somewhere to wash ready before they arrive.

On the day

  • Turn up on time. A late arrival eats into your own booking, not the next one.
  • Shower first. Hygiene is the thing therapists mention most often.
  • Bring the agreed amount in cash unless another method was arranged.
  • Do not turn up drunk or high. You will be turned away and still be charged.
  • Leave when the time is up unless you have agreed and paid to extend.

Consent and boundaries

Every advertiser sets their own limits and can decline anything, at any point, including after a booking has started. That is their right, not a negotiation.

Pushing past a stated boundary, removing a condom without consent, filming without permission, or refusing to leave are all serious matters. We ban accounts for them and we cooperate with the police.

Staying safe

  • Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to be back.
  • Meet somewhere you can leave freely, and keep your phone and keys on you.
  • Never send a deposit to an account that appeared in an unsolicited message, and be wary of anyone whose story keeps changing.
  • If something feels wrong, leave. You lose a fee, not more than that.

If something goes wrong

Report the profile from the listing itself, or contact us with the profile link and what happened. We investigate every report and suspend listings while we do.

If you see any sign that someone is underage or is not there by choice, do not go ahead with the booking. Report it to us and to the police. Massage List Africa acts on those reports first, ahead of everything else.
